What's inside

Four parts, one foundation.

1

Connections

An official, read-only connection to each tool. You click “Allow” once.

2

Cleaning and checks

Duplicates merged, names matched, and checks on every update.

3

Your private database

Encrypted, separate from every other client, and yours.

4

Business definitions

Your data dictionary: what every number means, where it comes from, and who owns it.

Your tools stay

We meet you in the tools you already use.

QuickBooks, your project tool, Excel, shared folders: keep all of it. We connect to them.

Connected to
  • Accounting
  • Project tool
  • Spreadsheets
  • Shared files
  • HR & payroll
  • Industry software

Your team keeps using them exactly as it does today. You approve a read-only connection to each one, and a copy updates in your private database on a schedule.

Foundation or Engineering?

Foundation cleans data that's already digital. Getting from paper to digital is an Engineering project.

Foundation

Cleans data that's already digital

We connect the systems and spreadsheets you already use, clean and match what's in them, and keep it updated in your private database.

Monthly. Priced by how many sources you have.

Engineering

Built from scratch, for you alone

Getting from paper to digital with phone forms or scanning, a crew-scheduling app, an automation that posts approved change orders into QuickBooks, a portal your customers sign into.

Priced as a project: from $5,000, or $175/hr.

FAQ

Questions.

Do we have to change our systems?

No. Your team keeps using QuickBooks, Procore, Excel, and the rest exactly as it does today. We work from a copy of the data, kept beside them.

What if some of our data is on paper?

Foundation works with data that's already digital. Getting paper into a system — a phone form, or scanning what you already have — is an Engineering project. Once it's digital, Foundation picks it up with everything else.

What are business definitions?

Your data dictionary: one written meaning for every number (what counts as a late order, what “revenue” includes), where it comes from, and who on your team owns it. They're part of Foundation, and they're what keep dashboards and Ask Your Data accurate.

What if our data is a mess?

That's normal, and it's exactly what Foundation fixes.

How often does it update?

On a schedule: once a day overnight on Small, up to every hour during business hours on Mid, and a custom schedule on Large.

Can you move us off an old system?

Yes, as part of Foundation. Your data is mapped, moved table by table, and counted twice before the old system is switched off. Very large migrations are quoted up front.

Can we use our own reporting tool?

Yes. Buy Foundation on its own and point Power BI, Tableau, or Excel at your clean database.

Who owns the data?

You do: the data, the cleaning rules, and anything built for you. It's in the contract, and it all comes with you if you leave.

How ready is your data?
